The other night, the girlfriend took me to a vampire ballet (dance performance?) — that is, a recital of which the premise is built upon vampires. #

It was pleasantly surprising, as expectedly creepy without taking itself too seriously: Vampire clan stalks a potential recruit — or maybe just dinner. Patriarch vampire seems a little weary of the antics of his “children” and takes his time with the potential addition, either he’s smitten and reluctant to change her, or he’s just bored and toying with her. Either way, the procrastination raises the ire of the matriarch and then drama ensues. #

It’s always drama with vampires, isn’t it? They really can’t just chill, ya know? #
