My latest project is now live. “White Woman in the Barrio,” is the website of Terry Green Sterling as she blogs while researching her book, “Illegal: Life and Death in Arizona’s Immigration War Zone.” #

I met Terry last summer when she enrolled in the New Media Academy at Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at ASU.  This is a 10-week class designed to teach non-technical people the technical and abstract skills of buidling a website and telling stories on the Web. Terry is also the writer-in-residence at Cronkite. So, after finishing the class, Terry was quite knowledgeable in what she needed. She started her website and blog on her own, but often found herself out of time as she was in the middle of researching and writing for her book. That’s when she enlisted me to help her out. #

A year later, Terry’s book is out and the website has been updated to help her market it. Terry is a total hoot and I thoroughly enjoy working with her. #
