Write a blog, help a dog
Now, Sid, on the other hand had her own mind about how things should be. She’d tear through the house, terrorize the cat, chew something or drag it out to the backyard. She loved to be wherever the action was. She was a handful, but I loved her for it. #
Sid died March 28 this year, and I still miss her. #
One thing Sid never did was to wait for a meal. If food wasn’t in her bowl when she was ready for it, she’d find it on her own. In the trash, on the counter. She’d even raid the pantry. Or even kill a bird. She was very fast. She never went hungry for very long, that’s for sure. #
But, there are many dogs who go hungry. And that’s sad to me. So, Pedigree, the dog food and products company, is generously pledging a 20-pound bag of dog food for every blog post that gets written about this campaign through September 19.So that’s why I’m writing this. Sid was not a rescue dog, but Freddy is. It doesn’t matter that I got him as a puppy and he didn’t have to spend much time in a kennel. He was put there because someone didn’t want him. And he’s turned out to be an exceptional friend. #
Think about your friends. I hope you can help. #
